Gradual transition to online communication
If you have chosen to opt out it will be shown in a common register for central and local government. It will take some time for all the government entities and all the local authorities to start using the register. From 1 January 2016 it will be mandatory for central and local government to check this register for if you have opted out of online communication. Government entities and local authorities, until they start using the register, must have your consent in order to be able to communicate with you online.
