How do I sign?
Go to the signing portal https://signering.posten.no and log on with ID-Porten to get an overview of the documents waiting for your signature. You will also see a list of any documents that you have signed in the past 24 hours.
1. Read the document
Once you have logged on to the signing service, you will find the document ready for signing.
Click "view document" to see what you want to sign (preview) or click directly at "start signing". You will then see the document.
2. Sign in ID-porten
Under the document you will find the "sign document" button. If you want to sign, click "sign document". If you do not want to sign, click "cancel". When signing the document, you will be sent to ID-porten where you identify yourself with the selected electronic ID. The sender of the document decides which e-ID that can be used to sign the document. Once the identification in ID-porten is completed, you have signed the document.
Once you have completed the signing you will receive a confirmation that the document is signed, and you will be offered to download the signed document. The document is available for downloading the 24 hours after the signing date, and is in the list of "Signed documents". We recommend that you upload the signed document to your digital mailbox.
You will receive notice by SMS or e-mail when you have new documents waiting for your signature.
Some public agencies uses the signing service as part of a process. Then you have to log on to a public service with ID-Porten. After you have logged on and shared information in a form, you are automatically redirected to the signing service. Once the document is signed, you will be sent back to the original service where you can download the signed document. There will not be time limited download of the signed document.
Advanced e-signature with BankID or Buypass:
The sender of the document sometimes decides that the document is to be signed with the so-called advanced e-signature. In these cases you will be asked to sign with e-ID from BankID or Buypass, (and the document can therefore not be signed with MinID, Commfides or BankID for mobile phones).
NB! If you sign with BankID you must first open and read the document in the signing solution, before you can check "content is understood and I'm ready to sign". It is electronic ID from BankID and Buypass which can be used for e-signature. You can also sign documents using BankID on mobile as a code chip.
