Common contact register
When you log on to an online public service, you will be asked to enter your mobile phone number and e-mail address. The mobile phone number and email address becomes a part of the common contact register. The common contact register is uses by the central and local government to notify you of decisions and other important letters that are sent to you online. You will also be able to get service messages and information by SMS or e-mail. For example, there may be a reminder of appointments or notification that the water will be shut down.
