Businesses that are using safety zones for Internet Explorer
Businesses that are using safety zones for Internet Explorer and are adding the URL to BankID merchants in Trusted sites or Intranet zone, should take notice of the following:
To ensure that the employees are able to use Internet Explorer 9 and above, the systems administrator of the company has to add this link https://csfe.bankid.no in Trusted sites for Internet Explorer.
This is to prevent problems in the log in procedure both in online banks and other services using BankID. BankID 2.0 will then function regardless of whether the BankID merchants URL is added in Internet, Intranet or Trusted sites.
This problem is related to the special CORS-handling of Internet Explorer, unfortunately it cannot be solved programmatic in BankID.
