Direct signing:
Some public agencies uses the signing service as part of a process. Then you have to log on to a public service with ID-Porten. After you have logged on and shared information in a form, you are automatically redirected to the signing service. Once the document is signed, you will be sent back to the original service where you can download the signed document. There will not be time limited download of the signed document.
Advanced e-signature with BankID or Buypass:
The sender of the document sometimes decides that the document is to be signed with the so-called advanced e-signature. In these cases you will be asked to sign with e-ID from BankID or Buypass, (and the document can therefore not be signed with MinID, Commfides or BankID for mobile phones).
NB! If you sign with BankID you must first open and read the document in the signing solution, before you can check "content is understood and I'm ready to sign". It is electronic ID from BankID and Buypass which can be used for e-signature. You can also sign documents using BankID on mobile as a code chip.
